Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actress or musician as well as playback vocalist in Tamil films as well as Malayalam film. Annayum's Rasoolum has marked her Malayalam and Tamil debuts in acting. Andrea Jeremiah is born into the same Anglo-Indian family at Arakkonam the capital of Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father is a lawyer in the Madras High Court. Her sister, who is younger, is an assistant researcher from Belgium who is employed in Leuven. Jeremiah, who was born in Chennai was a student at Chennai National Public School. He graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea began learning classical piano at the age of eight. She was an avid fan of geeks and wanted to be a psychiatrist. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style group which she joined at age 10 years old, was her starting point for her singing as well as composing music. She was a stage performer at her university and participated in several plays produced in the form of The Madras Players, EVAM and other theatre groups. Andrea was the President of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began performing as a young actress acting in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. She acted in new leo commercial for coffee with actor Shiva in the year 2006. She has also acted in a TV serial that was telecast on Podhigai. She's performed all across India. She performed a very brief performance in Kanda Mudhal in 2005, which is the climax. When she sang a tune for Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vettaiyaadu she was asked to appear as the main female character in his next film Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea portrays Kalyani in this film, which is a remake of James Siegel's novel Derailed. Her husband takes part in a relationship with her and she's blackmailed. Andrea was chosen to play the character in the aftermath of Simran, Tabu, and Tabu had been approached. The film was released in early 2010. In 2011 she agreed to play a minor supporting character which was released in early 2010. Venkat Prabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha which came out in August 2011. In 2013, she began her career in Malayalam film with Rajeev Ravi's romantic movie, Annayum Rasoolum.
